Upcoming change of pace... #4060 - 04/30/06 05:14 PM

Rather than discontinuing the site completely we'll be moving away from providing chat rooms as a service. The site will be revamped and geared towards a social networking site which will be by invite only, along the same lines as Google's Orkut. This will be yet another experiment on my part to help develop the software I currently work on. All current user accounts will be purged when I relaunch the site.

Dave,

Since you are taking down the IRC server and what not, is thee a way that you could send me the Java Applet you use for chattersonline. It seems to be one of the only ones that works for almost everyone.

Robert I would if I could but it's licensed to the chattersonline.com domain and will not work correctly without the correct domain license key. The applet is made by jpilot. It's been a while since I have been to their site though. They still exist?

Hey, i like the idea of moving away from the old and going toward the new. But when do you think that everything will be complete?

popped in here to ask you if there is anything we can do to fix the inserting picture situation at the porch? also the shout box doesn't work. and no one else can join?
